Adeline joined Mercer Hong Kong in 2014 as the Head of Investment Advisory and later expanded her oversight to include Retirement Advisory within Mercer’s Wealth business.
As Mercer’s head of Advisory, she led the consulting team in serving clients on asset and liability matters, and was responsible for client delivery and growing the technical capabilities of the team. Prior to joining Mercer, she was with another leading consulting firm for 12 years and she began her career advising large UK pension schemes on the funding and risk management of their liabilities. In the same firm, she was seconded to the Shanghai office and gained experience in the region.
Later she returned to the UK to specialize in development of long-term investment strategy, asset-liability studies, dynamic de-risking and portfolio construction matters. She then focused on delivering whole-fund investment solutions to clients that opted to delegate a greater part of their investment processes.
Adeline is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Warwick, UK, and is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries.
